Thank you so much for your interest in purchasing a custom piece from Kari Johnson Art.
Kari has many different styles from thick and textural canvas work to poured painting, to large and small abstract watercolors so finding the right fit for your home is the top priority.
Please fill out the included questionnaire so that we may collaborate together to create your custom Kari Johnson piece.
HOW IT WORKS: Kari will make all other stylistic and aesthetic decisions based on her usual process. While she does not paint replicas, you may send photographs of desired composition for inspiration to hello@karijohnsonart.com.
THE PROCESS:
STEP 1: Fill out questionnaire and discuss the scope of the commission, including styles, inspiration, timeline, and budget. Discussion could be in person, via phone, or in email.
STEP 2: Receive contract & Invoice for deposit.*
*Deposit = 50% of total
Once everyone has agreed and the contract has been signed and paid, Kari will get to work on creating the custom piece that you have requested! Deposit is non-refundable.
STEP 3: The fun part!! Kari will begin work on the piece and upon completion, we will send you photos of your lovely custom painting!
PLEASE NOTE: Kari will consider, but does not guarantee edits since the piece is first and foremost a unique abstract painting made in Kari’s ever-changing aesthetic and style. However, if you decide the piece does not work for you, you are not committed to purchase. At this point, you may use the non-refundable 50% deposit as a store credit for the online shop.
